Encanto (2021) (PG) Saturday 25th June

Disney’s animated feature, a musical set in Colombia, has an ousider heroine in Muriel, who works to save her family, the Madrigals, from ruin. South American-flavoured music by Lin Manuel Miranda.

Casablanca (1942) (PG) Saturday 9th June

Classic wartime romantic drama with Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, Paul Henreid, Conrad Veidt and Peter Lorre heading a great cast under Michael Curtiz’s deft direction. Music by Max Steiner.

Jurassic World (2015) (12) Saturday 23rd July

Spectacular dinosaur film, fourth in the series, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with the montrous reptiles, and music by Oscar-winning Michael Giacchino.
