Free Filmmaking Course is Full On!

Portsmouth Film Society’s new film making course started this Saturday 11thJanuary. Twenty-four students enrolled in the course and PFS is delighted with this response.

Aysegul Epengin said “We had diverse group students from 12 different schools from Portsmouth. We also had five students who are home schooled attend. We are very happy with the parents’ attentions ”.

On this first day in the classroom parents had a briefing about the courses time-line and content and the students had some ice-breaking activities. We also discussed about crimes and the different justice applied to them.

After the twenty-week course students will receive Bronze Art Awards certificates and PFS will organise a premiere for the students’ short film projects in May/June 2020. The short films projects will be shared in INTO films and enter the completion.

The project is possible through the generosity of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Fund. (HWCF). and 2018 equipment funding by the Lottery Fund for the adult I Am Only Human After All project.
